Sylvia Karpinsky, Master Director

2015 Region 2 Champions!

It is with great excitement that the Spirit of Detroit and Great Lakes choruses announce plans to merge at the end of 2016. Even more thrilling is that the unified chorus will be co-directed by our beloved Master Directors, LeAnn K. Hazlett and Sylvia Karpinsky.   All individual chorus commitments will be met through the 2016 calendar year.

Great Lakes Chorus is eagerly anticipating representing Region 2 at the 2016 Harmony Classic in Las Vegas.  After the completion of that competition, the final steps will be taken to create the newly formed chorus.  We then plan to compete in Region 2 as a unit in April of 2017.

We look forward to the new bonds of sisterhood and harmony on our horizon.

     In Joy,

Great Lakes and Spirit of Detroit Choruses

We can make your upcoming event a truly memorable one.

We provide performances from a quartet serenading at a personal event like birthdays or anniversaries, all the way up to a full chorus performance for civic, community or professional organization functions. We can even do singing telegrams over the phone to anywhere in the U.S. for any occasion.

We have even sung for the President of the United States!

Click here for our business manager.

She can arrange for the perfect sized group and appropriate repertoire to suit your needs.

WARNING: Singing 4-PART HARMONY IS ADDICTIVE, AND SERIOUSLY GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH!
